Taking place 20 thousand years after the destruction of the death star, many minor battles have been fought around the galaxy, minor battles...until the The Black Hand revealed themselves again. The The Black Hand were feared immediatly after their revealment. They slaughtered many, and three years after they revealed themselves, an intergalactic war takes place, which is where the story begins.
The Republic, the Sith and the The Black Hand, all fighting over worlds to control the galaxy, and so, the war begins.
